DSports, the sports network operated by Waiken ILW, has renewed its long-term agreement with LaLiga to continue broadcasting Spanish football live across nine South American markets.

The new audiovisual rights agreement will run for six seasons, from 2026/27 through 2031/32, allowing DSports to broadcast LaLiga EA Sports matches in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.

Coverage will be available across the DSports network of channels, through DIRECTV’s satellite television service and the DGO live TV and streaming platform.

Coverage of the new season will begin on August 15, featuring clubs including Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, Athletic Club, Sevilla FC and Valencia CF, among others.

Programming will include some of the biggest fixtures on the calendar, including ElClásico between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, the Madrid derby and Seville’s El Gran Derbi, as well as coverage of the title race, European qualification spots and the battle to avoid relegation throughout the 38-match season.

“The continuation of these strategic partnerships demonstrates DSports’ leadership in South America. We were the only network to broadcast all 104 FIFA World Cup matches in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Colombia and Ecuador, and we continue to offer the best coverage and live broadcasts of the most highly anticipated sporting events,” said Hernán Bidegain, Regional Director of Original Content and Programming at DSports.
