An event of this magnitude deserved top-tier coverage, which is why ESPN reached an agreement to acquire a package of rights for the Disney Premium Plan in Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, and Venezuela.

ESPN’s offering for the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Disney Premium Plan includes a total of 30 matches: 22 from the group stage, two from the round of 32, two from the round of 16, one quarterfinal match, the semifinals, and the final. Additionally, in each participating country, ESPN on Disney Premium Plan will broadcast that country’s national team matches, ensuring relevant and engaging coverage for local audiences.

“This agreement reinforces our position as leaders in top-tier sporting events and allows us to continue offering fans the excitement of the World Cup with comprehensive, high-quality coverage,” said Bruno Zurlo, Director of ESPN amp; Networks at The Walt Disney Company Latin America.

“As always, ESPN will complement match coverage with a unique offering of news and information, taking the World Cup beyond the pitch with the most recognized voices and in-depth analysis,” Zurlo added.

ESPN is working on a 24-hour programming schedule for the Disney Premium Plan specifically designed for coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, including live matches, highlights, and complementary content, presented by some of the most recognized voices in the region.
