FOX Latin America and the Houston Texans today announced an agreement making FOX the home of the franchise in Mexico. The partnership will allow fans to watch the team’s preseason games, while also providing exclusive content and special access offering a closer look at the Texans and their day-to-day operations.
More than a broadcast agreement, the new partnership establishes a continuous presence for the Houston Texans across FOX’s multimedia platforms in Mexico. Throughout the season, fans will have access to content featuring new stories, perspectives and moments surrounding the Texans franchise, expanding the experience beyond game days.
“This partnership makes FOX the meeting point between the Houston Texans and their fans in Mexico. Across all our platforms, we will go beyond broadcasting preseason games to bring fans closer to the team, its stories and everything happening around the franchise throughout the season. The NFL’s return to FOX gives us the opportunity to create deeper experiences, and this agreement is a clear example of that ambition,” said Luis Maldonado, VP of Programming and Acquisitions at FOX Latin America.
“Mexico is home to the largest Texans fan base outside the United States, and this opportunity gives us a powerful platform to strengthen our relationship with fans across the country. We are excited that FOX will broadcast our preseason games and that our fans in Mexico will be able to connect with the Texans through content and access that brings them even closer to our team,” said Marc Vandermeer, Vice President of Broadcasting and Voice of the Houston Texans.
The announcement comes as the NFL returns to FOX in Mexico starting with the 2026 season and reinforces FOX Latin America’s strategy of delivering a premium, relevant and differentiated sports offering.
With the Houston Texans, FOX expands its NFL coverage through an experience that combines live games, exclusive content and a closer connection with one of the league’s leading franchises.
